A third-generation tuning chip with Bluetooth for Specialized e-bikes (including SL motors) and TCU/MasterMind TCU control units.
SpeedBox 3.1 B.Tuning offers an advanced connection between your Specialized e-bike and your smartphone thanks to Bluetooth technology.
The chip removes the e-bike´s speed limit, allowing you to reach speeds of up to 50 km/h and fully enjoy your rides.
How does SpeedBox 3.1 B.Tuning for Specialized work?.
Install the SpeedBox inside the bike frame, beneath the TCU/MasterMind TCU unit.
The display will show a maximum assistance speed of 50 km/h.
To activate tuning, switch the e-bike off and on twice.
The chip will then be active.
You can deactivate tuning via the SpeedBox App or manually by changing modes:
from TURBO, go three levels down and then three levels up.
(TRAIL → ECO → OFF → ECO → TRAIL → TURBO).
This will restore the assistance limit to 25 km/h.
Adjusting the speed limit.
You can also adjust the speed limit using the WALK function.
Each brief activation increases the limit by 5 km/h.
For example, a value of 2.5 km/h on the display represents a real limit of 25 km/h, and 5.0 km/h corresponds to 50 km/h (values may appear rounded on some displays).
The value is saved automatically after 5 seconds of inactivity and confirmed by switching the bike off and on twice.
You can check the current assistance speed using the + – + – button combination or directly in the app.

The SpeedBox App was specifically designed for the SpeedBox 3.1 B.Tuning model.
It uses Bluetooth to connect your e-bike with your smartphone.
Once installed and paired, you can view your ride data, save statistics, and compare your results with friends.
