The SeaTalk NG system utilizes a simple yet powerful cabling hierarchy to ensure data integrity and system reliability. Individual devices, such as instrument displays or sensors, are connected to this backbone using Spur cables. A dedicated Power cable is used to introduce 12V DC power to the network, energizing all connected devices through the backbone.
