Designed to take on all conditions and all terrain, the MOD7 from Oakley is a new model of 2-in-1 ski helmet that incorporates a protective visor for the eyes.

Offering an all-in-one package, it takes advantage of visionary Secure-Connect technology to create a cohesive design that not only heralds the future of optical integration, but sets a new standard for visor helmets. The system magnetically connects and mechanically secures the visor to the helmet , whether in the driving position or in the stowed position. The helmet is obtained with a hybrid shell construction method using a blend of duramatter and lightweight polycarbonate.

The visor incorporates Prizm™ Torch (category 3) technology to’improve contrast and enhance clarity to detect snow contours, textures and obstacles. All with an anti-fog treatment for clear vision in sunny conditions.

Materials:

• Mixed duramatter shell: hybrid shell construction method using a blend of duramatter and traditional lightweight polycarbonate to create a well-balanced design.
• Skull matrix: unique integration that combines fit and protection, allowing the helmet’s internal retention system to wrap in all directions around the wearer’s head for a comfortable fit.
• Secure-connect: oakley’s exclusive helmet technology, secure-connect seamlessly integrates optics and helmet for a completely new experience. Secure- Connect magnetically connects and mechanically secures the visor to the helmet, whether in the driving position or in the storage position.
• Lens seal adjustment: adjustment knob is integrated into the side of the helmet. Allows the visor to be pushed back against the user’s face for adjustment
• Lens ejection button: releases the helmet visor, whether in the driving or storage position
• Lens storage zone: located at the front/top of the helmet, the lens zone allows the wearer to intuitively store the visor in place as if it were a traditional mask, thanks to secure-connect technology.
