Description
LOWRANCE XSonic Airmar P79 In-Hull Transducer | Effortless & Accurate Depth Sensing
Unlock clear, reliable depth readings and elevate your on-water awareness with the innovative LOWRANCE XSonic Airmar P79 Transducer. Designed for boaters who prioritize performance and hull integrity, this advanced sensor provides crucial depth data without the need for complex, invasive installation. It represents the perfect fusion of simplicity and sophisticated sonar technology, making it an essential upgrade for your marine electronics setup.
The P79 is a plastic, in-hull dual-frequency, depth sensor. Easy to install, accomodating deadrise angles up to 22°, it is ideal for inshore use on motorboats with outboard engines, small racing yachts and RIBs. Its unique in-hull design means it transmits and receives sonar signals directly through the solid fiberglass of your boat´s hull, eliminating the drag, turbulence, and potential leak points associated with traditional transom or thru-hull transducers. This intelligent design ensures your boat´s hull remains pristine while delivering the high-quality performance you expect from Lowrance and Airmar.
Experience exceptional versatility on the water. Whether you´re exploring coastal bays, navigating shallow rivers, or tracking the bottom in deeper offshore channels, the P79 adapts to your environment. Its dual-frequency capability provides a comprehensive view beneath your vessel, offering detailed returns in shallow water and robust bottom tracking at greater depths, ensuring you are always informed and in control.
Key Features & Specifications
Power & Mounting:
* Power: From 0 to 0.60 kW
* Mounting Style: In hull
Core Benefits:
* Depth: Navigate with ultimate peace of mind. The P79 constantly calculates how deep the water is, feeding precise information to your display so that you can avoid running aground, locate drop-offs, and safely explore new areas.
* Easy To Install: Get professional-grade results with a simple, DIY-friendly installation. Mounted inside the hull using a liquid-filled base, installation is incredibly easy and requires no holes to be drilled in the hull, preserving its structural integrity and value.
* Dual Frequency: Gain superior underwater vision in all conditions. The transducer works at 50 kHz for excellent bottom tracking in deep water and 200 kHz for good target detail and enhanced resolution in shallow water, giving you the best of both worlds.
* Deadrise Adjustment: Achieve optimal performance on a wide range of vessels. The clever design accomodates deadrise angles from 2° to 22°, ensuring the transducer beam is aimed straight down for the most precise readings, regardless of your boat´s hull shape.
