Product Details and Application Instructions
For areas of your wooden boat, Le tonquinois´´ varnish is a must.
It is suitable for areas of the boat that are not permanently in contact with water.
This 100% waterproof phenolic varnish is ideal for use on wood and metal, but also adheres perfectly to all types of surface.
This product has excellent UV and light resistance.
This varnish is also resistant to temperature changes, abrasion and external impact.
Instructions for use:
* Sand and clean the area thoroughly.
* Do not apply at temperatures below 12°C.
* Apply in dry weather.
* Thin the first coat to 5% (thinner: white spirit).
* Lightly sand the first coat using fine abrasive paper moistened with water.
* Apply 4 coats of varnish.
* For even longer-lasting protection, you can apply up to 8 coats.
* Allow 24 hours between coats
