The LYRA II from Exped is a freestanding tent.
Designed for bivouacking on hikes and treks, this versatile tent adapts to all 3 seasons. This spacious 2-seater has a self-supporting aluminium frame. With its linked hoop segments, it deploys quickly and is easy to install. Once assembled, it offers 2 entrances and 2 vestibules to simplify your comings and goings and to store your equipment. Inside, this tent offers generous space and is wide enough to store 2 mattresses. Its 110 cm headroom gives you plenty of room to sit. Its mesh fabric optimises air circulation in the passenger compartment to ensure optimum comfort, while reducing its overall weight. When the temperature rises, you can erect only the inner chamber, i.e. without the double roof.
Its materials, including aluminium for the roll-bars and polyester for the double-roof and floor, are both high-performance and protective.
