The EXPED BLACK ICE 45 M backpack is a minimalist, ultra-lightweight backpack designed for climbing the most technical routes in all seasons. It offers a generous 45 liters of volume to get you going with confidence.

Its pure design incorporates everything you need for a successful climb, and its optimized footprint keeps it close to the body and allows for freedom of movement, thanks in part to the simple and comfortable back panel. It loads from the top and the roll-up closure ensures waterproofing. The 400D ripstop nylon fabric is rugged and water resistant with a TPU film laminate.

Your climbing accessories will naturally find their place on the side daisy chains or on the pole or ice axe carrying loop which is expandable to create a diagonal ski carrying system.
