The particularity of Volcano ropes is that they are made out of 50% Aramid mixed with polyester threads in the sheath. While prusiks in conventional ropes have a short lifespan because they melt quickly under the effect of friction, the Aramid used in our ropes protects them from melting and greatly increases their lifespan. This advanced material composition provides exceptional heat resistance, preventing the glazing and hardening that compromises the grip and safety of standard cords.
