This is the ultra light version of the best selling model of the brand. The BCA DOZER 1T UL shovel is made for those who want to ski light. The shovel is slimmed down for maximum weight savings and is also rigid and durable thanks to the ribs made of 7075 aluminum. The front of the shovel is flat to facilitate clean cutting of snow in preparation for snowpack stability tests.

The shovel is easily removable and expandable to save as much space as possible in your pack. All fittings are spring loaded, making assembly and disassembly quick, easy and tool-free.

It corresponds to the UIAA standard for avalanche shovels, which guarantees a high performance tool during a rescue. The bucket easily penetrates the snow thanks to the front blade, as long as the shortage is long enough to offer a good leverage arm to break the snow and throw it out of the disaster area. It’s a great choice for hiking.
