Audio Technica AT-LP7 Fully Manual Belt-Drive Turntable Rediscover the depth and warmth of your vinyl collection with the Audio-Technica AT-LP7, a turntable meticulously engineered for the discerning audiophile.
Built on more than 50 years of analog heritage, the AT-LP7 delivers an uncompromisingly pure and high-fidelity listening experience, combining classic design principles with advanced materials and technology.
At the heart of the AT-LP7 is a commitment to sonic purity through superior vibration control.
The chassis is constructed from a 40 mm-thick MDF (medium-density fiberboard) plinth, a dense and acoustically inert material that provides a stable, anti-resonant base to minimize low-frequency feedback.
The platter, precision-machined from 20 mm-thick polyoxymethylene (POM), is itself designed for low resonance and is driven by a sensor-monitored belt-drive motor.
This advanced system ensures the platter maintains an incredibly accurate and stable rotational speed at either 33-1/3 or 45 RPM, so you hear your music exactly as the artist intended, free from speed-related distortion.
The AT-LP7 features a static-balance J-shaped tonearm, a design inspired by the classic Audio-Technica models of the 1960s and 70s.
This tonearm utilizes a metallic gimbal suspension system and precision bearings to minimize tracking error, ensuring the stylus moves flawlessly through the record groove.
It comes pre-fitted with a high-performance VM520EB Dual Moving Magnet cartridge, complete with a 10 g AT-HS10 headshell.
The cartridge´s elliptical bonded stylus and para-toroidal coils deliver outstanding channel separation, extended frequency response, and superb tracking for a rich, detailed, and immersive soundstage.
Versatility is key to the AT-LP7´s design.
It includes a built-in, switchable phono pre-amplifier, allowing for direct connection to a wide range of audio systems, whether they have a dedicated phono input or not.
The preamp is selectable for both Moving Magnet (MM) and Moving Coil (MC) cartridges, giving you the freedom to experiment and upgrade your cartridge in the future.
Connectivity is provided via standard RCA outputs, and for maximum compatibility, an included dual RCA to Jack 3.5 mm adapter cable allows you to connect to powered speakers, computers, or other devices with a 3.5 mm auxiliary input.
